Drupal 7 still feels hot off the shelfs, even though many people use it for their live sites actively. There are some very exciting multilingual changes in Drupal 7 including better support for language selection & multi-level language support as well as translatable entities. Come to this session to get the scoop on what are these are why do they matter for

While Drupal 7 was in development, another great effort was going on at localize.drupal.org, liberating Drupal software translations from the rigid version control system and consequently module maintainer schedules. How do you get your modules translatable? What about custom
built-code for clients? How do you contribute and benefit from community translations?

In this session attendees will get a good overview of current multilingual solutions for Drupal 7 and localize.drupal.org. We'll also take a brief look at the most pressing tasks for Drupal 8, most of what can be worked on in Drupal 7 contributed modules to improve the multilingual user experience.
